Commercial Real Estate is a complicated industry and much different than Residential Real Estate. Agents must be able to understand and negotiate issues such as timing, positive financial returns, environmental due diligence, lease/rent structures and the difference between residential and commercial valuations.
Having both first-hand experience of developing businesses and renovating properties for commercial uses, I have learned to appreciate the complexities and challenges that come with matching business needs with commercial real estate. The decision to focus strictly on commercial transactions stems from a deep understanding of these issues gained from my personal interest, professional experience and education. Having been involved in investment real estate for the past 32 years, I understand the relevance of different property types, locations, financial considerations and the complex decisions relative to being a tenant, a landlord, an owner or financier.
