Andy Mick

I am the product of a United States Air Force officer’s family. Though I spent my childhood in Texas, Ohio, Delaware and Florida, I now call Richmond MA in Berkshire County my full-time home.

I am deeply ingrained in the business world, having spent 43 years as an executive for the New York Times Regional Newspaper Group and MediaNews Group, eventually being appointed to the position of president & CEO of New England Newspapers, Inc. and publisher of The Berkshire Eagle.

In launching an encore career as a licensed real estate agent with Jan Perry Realty & Associates, LLC, I have transacted millions of dollars in volume over dozens of successful transactions with many wonderful clients.

My volunteer work includes having served as a director of the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Inc., chairman of the American Heart Associate Heart Walk, member of The Berkshire Business Roundtable and chairman of The Berkshire Compact for Higher Education. I am a 2009 graduate of The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, with a BA degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
